Empowering Kids Through Music
The Problem
Finding the right music lessons shouldn’t be so hard. Between busy schedules, long commutes, and rigid programs, it’s tough to give your child a positive and consistent music experience.

He is very patient with my son who has ASD and apraxia and finds music that my son is interested in. We are very happy with his teaching and I hope my son continues to want to take lessons!!

Rob does an excellent job keeping kids engaged and meeting them where they are at with their learning. Our 7 year old has been doing drum lessons with Rob for over a year and started with the drum club, group option and then moved to 1:1 drum lessons - both options have been a good experience for us.

Our son is having fun learning drumming. The lessons are very engaging and age-appropriate. I wasn't sure if zoom lessons would be a good fit for a squirmy 5 year old but the teacher is very patient and keeps him engaged. Thanks for a great class!

Frequently asked questions
1. What if my child has never played an instrument before?
That’s exactly who we’re here for! Our beginner lessons are designed to meet kids where they are. We keep it fun, simple, and encouraging—no experience needed
2. Do we need a full drum set to get started?
Not at all. Your child can start with just a pair of sticks and a practice pad—or even a box or pillow. We make sure learning is accessible with what you already have at home.
3. Will my child stay engaged through a Zoom lesson?
Yes! Our lessons are upbeat, interactive, and age-appropriate. We use call-and-response, movement, interactive games, and creativity to keep kids focused and excited to learn
4. How do I know if my child is making progress?
We give regular feedback, celebrate small wins, and offer clear learning goals. You’ll see your child gaining confidence and skills each week—and they’ll be proud to show you!
5. What if we need to miss a lesson?
We understand life happens. Just give us 24 hours’ notice and we’ll work with you to reschedule if possible. We also offer flexible options like self-paced content to keep learning on track.

Absolutely. Our founder, Rob Egan, is a Berklee College of Music graduate with over 30 years of experience—and all EMA instructors are carefully selected for their teaching skill, energy, and ability to connect with kids.
